On Saturday, October 24th, join the Alexandria Choral Society for "Tapestry: A Festival of Belonging," a performance that will weave together the voices, languages, and traditions of our diverse community into one richly patterned evening of music.
In addition to pieces sung in English, Spanish, and Amharic, this program will feature a new work by award-winning composer Nebal Maysaud, whose music bridges Western and Middle Eastern traditions, as well as poetry from Alexandria's own Poet Laureate, Cristi Donoso, giving voice to the immigrant experience that has shaped this city for generations.
Tickets for this concert are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested price of $30. Get your tickets today and join the Alexandria Choral Society as we celebrate what makes us many and what makes us one.
