The Old Town North Arts & Cultural District comes to life on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 11am to 3pm as the Old Town North Alliance hosts the 2nd Annual Chalk-A-Block.
Chalk artists will transform the sidewalks and parking lots of Old Town North into their canvases. Live music will fill the air from a variety of artists including local favorites The Okays, The Frontier, Alejandro Villareal, and Caroline Whitaker. Local artisans and makers organized by Made in ALX will be on hand to showcase their works. From stained glass to stationery to jewelry to spices to baked goods and more, there’s something for everyone!
Follow the Old Town North Tern’s footprints from site to site throughout Old Town North and complete the scavenger hunt to be entered to win prizes!
Chalk-A-Block is free to attend and will offer fun for all ages: artists will designates areas at most locations where kids (and adults!) can join in and make chalk art of their own!
