Golf club fitter ‘Club Champion’ coming to Alexandria Commons shopping center

A new golf club fitting studio is coming soon to Alexandria.

Club Champion is aiming to open its newest store in early March at 3209 Duke Street in the Alexandria Commons shopping center, the company confirmed to ALXnow. The 3,400-square-foot space was formerly a Rockbox Fitness Center.

The forthcoming Alexandria store will be Club Champion’s seventh in Virginia, joining locations in Ashburn, Charlottesville, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Richmond and Virginia Beach.

The Illinois-based company has opened more than 120 Club Champion locations around the globe since its founding in 2010.

It takes about an hour to fit a single club and four hours to fit a bag of clubs, according to Club Champion.

“Choose as many or as few custom fitted clubs as you’d like,” the company says on its website. “We can even make adjustments to your existing clubs if you prefer.”

Fittings cost between $100 and $400, with customers getting discounts and waived fees if they buy recommended clubs.
