Alexandria is getting ready to celebrate Bike to Work Day on Thursday (May 15). Six pit stops will offer free giveaways, food, coffee, and more.
The main pit stop, run by GO Alex and the City of Alexandria, will be at City Hall (301 King St.) from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Bike to Work Day is a region-wide event that showcases the benefits of biking to work, school, and other daily activities.

You can also stop by other locations:

– National Landing at APTA (afternoon stop)
The event will have speakers, local vendors, on-site bike mechanics, a live DJ, and a photobooth.
