Meet your new best friend, Astro – this week’s adoptable dog of the week!
Astro, a seven-year-old male, mixed breed, is available for adoption from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA).
“Ready for takeoff! My name is Astro, and I’m a very good boy who will charm you with my bright smile and happy energy,” AWLA writes about Astro on its website. “I’m super smart and sweet, a gentle giant who loves to play fetch and chase tennis balls. I’m well-trained, too. I am housetrained, and I know lots of commands like sit, shake, and fetch. I am very motivated for treats so there’s no end to what I can learn. I would love to spend time playing with you and then relaxing at home with a chew toy. Come visit me soon. I can’t wait to meet you”!
Thanks to a generous donor, Astro’s adoption fee has been paid.
