Food Drive for ALIVE!

Founded in 1969, ALIVE! is the oldest and largest private safety net in the City of Alexandria dedicated to fighting poverty and hunger. According to ALIVE!, the summer months of July and August are the time of year when we can really help!

Please see the generally accepted food donations, keeping in mind the following restrictions:

• Personal size, non-bulk portions
• No expired food
• No food packaged in glass containers
• Non-perishable foods only

Bring your donations to Old Town Village Roundhouse (343 S Fayette Street) on the July 16th and stay for refreshments with your friends and neighbors.
